Generally, personal information will be collected from you directly when you complete an application form or submit your resume, either online or in hard copy, attend an interview, or otherwise provide us with personal information in person or via telephone, email, fax, post or other means, whether at OneMD On Demand’s request or at your own initiative.

- you apply for a role or submit your resume through our website or a third-party website, application or service;
- we undertake reference checks by inquiring with, or we otherwise receive references or performance feedback (whether negative or positive) from, any of your former or current employers, work colleagues, professional associations or registration bodies (reference checks are only undertaken with your consent);
- we receive results of any medical tests or criminal history checks, (which are only undertaken with your consent);p

There may be other occasions when OneMD On Demand collects your personal information from other sources such as an information services provider, your employer or ex-employer or a publicly maintained record, including records publicly available through social media such as LinkedIn and Facebook. Generally, OneMD On Demand will only collect your personal information from sources other than you if it is unreasonable or impracticable to collect your personal information from you.

OneMD On Demand collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information for the purposes of providing you with recruitment or work placement services, or other services through a Site. This may include using and disclosing your personal information to facilitate, or otherwise in connection with:
- you being offered employment or an engagement with a client of OneMD On Demand;
- your actual or potential work placements with clients of OneMD On Demand;
- undertaking performance appraisals in relation to your former or current work placements with clients of OneMD On Demand;

Referees
The type of information that we typically collect and hold about referees is information that is necessary to help make determinations about the suitability of one of our candidates for particular jobs or particular types of work and may include:
- information about work position, authority to give a reference and preferred contact details;
- opinions of the referee regarding the candidate’s character and work performance or work environment; and
- facts or evidence in support of those opinions, sometimes involving the referee’s own knowledge and experience of having worked with the candidate.

Personal Information about you that we have collected from others
We collect personal information about you from other people including referees, previous employers, professional registration authorities or educational institutions, who may be in the position to provide us with information that we may use to assess your suitability to be placed in or continue in positions that you may be offered.
If we reasonably believe that your being in, or remaining in, a position might present a risk to your health and safety or to that of others for whose health or safety we are responsible, we may collect relevant personal information (including health information) that will allow us to manage that risk.
We may also collect personal information about your work performance from employers with whom we have placed you. We could use the information to manage our post-placement obligations, including managing any candidate replacement guarantee which we might be required to honour.
Legal Requirements for personal information
Some laws such as taxation law, immigration law, laws regulating employment agencies, laws relating to national security, laws relating to professional or trade registration, labour hire licensing laws, public health laws, and laws for the protection of certain classes of people (such as children or the elderly) may require that we collect certain types of information (including criminal history and evidence of your right to work) from you that is relevant to the position/s for which you may be applying.

If we need to conduct background screening with overseas based organisations, we are likely to disclose some of your personal information to overseas recipients.
